Job Description
Yondr is seeking a Design Manager to lead the Design Management function and ensure service consistency across the division. The Design Manager will promote best practices and continuous improvement, providing timely feedback on design management performance. They will assist in sales and marketing efforts, including preparing bid documents and attending project interviews as Yondr’s design specialist.
Role involves:
- Compilation, approval, and checking of key design management processes.
- Management of the development of generic deliverables templates.
- Monitoring and improving the performance of CSA & MEPH designers.
- Auditing designs and identifying inconsistencies.
- Driving relationships with contractors and suppliers.
- Supporting the delivery/construction team in resolving design-related issues.
Requirements:
- At least 15 years’ experience with highly serviced buildings.
- Knowledge of Data Centres or Research and Academic buildings is a must.
- Prior construction design and/or design management experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the design and construction process.
- Commercially savvy.
- Good organizational and system implementation skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience managing cross-cultural working relationships.
