Job Description

Auros is seeking a Middle Office Developer to contribute to the cryptocurrency ecosystem through liquidity and market-making services. The company is a large participant in the market, trading across 10+ global locations and facilitating 3-4% of global daily volumes. The Middle Office Developer will solve problems facing the finance, middle office, and trading desks to ensure the smooth operation of trading strategies and financial reporting. The systems handle millions of transactions from various exchange and banking platforms worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with finance, middle office teams, and traders to understand core problems.
• Stay updated on developments in Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and cryptocurrency.
• Design and build systems for trading activities, focusing on middle office and finance functions.
• Develop full-stack solutions using databases, message queues, websockets, HTTP, and UIs.
• Develop reports, monitoring tools, deployment tools, and troubleshooting tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Engage in system design discussions, code reviews, and problem-solving.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in the financial service industry.
• Strong interest in decentralized finance and cryptocurrencies.
• Good programming skills in Python with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong skills in data design.
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly.
• Reliability and willingness to support developed systems.
• High organization, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Resourcefulness, teamwork, and clear communication skills.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
