Fortune is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their London team. This role is crucial for supporting the growth of the company's UK and European business. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and helping to deliver against sales goals.Role involves:
  • Building and maintaining a qualified pipeline of high-value prospects.
  • Executing a structured outreach strategy.
  • Driving conversion rates and closing strategic deals.
  • Conducting impactful client meetings and developing retention strategies.
  • Providing timely responses to client inquiries.
  • Maintaining an organised CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Developing expert-level knowledge of media solutions.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Aligning sales efforts with marketing, editorial, and product teams.
  • Sharing insights from client interactions.
  • Identifying high-potential opportunities.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the financial media sector.
  • At least 4 years of experience in media sales, with expertise in digital media, custom content, print, and event sponsorships.
  • Exceptional communication & negotiation skills, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
  • A highly organized, results-driven approach.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Availability to work in the London office 5 days a week.
  • Must have authorisation to work in the UK.
