Job Description
Canonical, a leading open-source software provider, is seeking a Channel Marketing Director to spearhead its Go-To-Market strategy across its partner ecosystem. This role involves leading a team of marketing managers and collaborating closely with partners to establish Canonical as their trusted open-source solutions provider. The Channel Marketing Director will be responsible for maximizing the ROI of campaigns supporting partner motions.

The role involves:
  • Building a marketing strategy to drive pipeline growth and revenue through key partners.
  • Executing partner campaigns across the funnel, from recruitment to demand generation.
  • Engaging and elevating the partner community through exceptional content.
  • Crafting bespoke plans and joint value propositions.
  • Managing Marketing Development Funds (MDF).
  • Driving the adoption of advanced analytics and reporting tools.
  • Mentoring and developing a diverse team of partner marketers.

Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of the technology ecosystem (Silicon, IHV, ISV, ODM/OEMs, cloud service providers, channels).
  • Demonstrated leadership in aligning diverse partners around Go-To-Market strategies.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful co-marketing programs.
  • Experience reporting on complex partner marketing activities and touchpoints.
  • Outstanding communications skills in English.
