Job Description
Sony Music China is seeking an Assistant Manager/Supervisor to drive digital marketing for its international catalogue. The role focuses on amplifying the reach and engagement of the catalogue, maximizing streams and visibility across platforms. The candidate will spearhead innovative digital campaigns for a diverse roster of artists, leveraging social media strategies and partnerships to elevate their presence in the Chinese market.
What this role involves:
- Developing and executing digital marketing campaigns, including social media and digital activations.
- Aligning strategies with global product managers to optimize the international music catalogue promo.
- Collaborating closely with digital sales teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution on local DSPs side.
- Coordinating with manufacturing partners for physical album production and distribution.
- Analyzing music industry trends and performance metrics using data tools to inform catalogue strategy.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Chinese.
- In-depth understanding of international popular music and its history and fan community in China.
- Previous experience in digital marketing preferably in the music industry.
- Technical understanding of social media platforms, including Douyin, Weibo, Rednote, etc…
