Newsweek is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to support its Executive Leadership Team. This role is crucial for ensuring the office runs efficiently and representing the company professionally. The Senior Executive Assistant will be the primary administrative support and a partner in enabling business operations. This is a hybrid position based in NYC, requiring in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.This person will play a critical role for several ELT leaders ensuring time is optimized, high-stakes engagements are managed, and facilitating seamless coordination between commitments.
Responsibilities: - Strategically manage complex calendars and schedule meetings.
- Serve as a liaison between ELT members and stakeholders.
- Screen and prioritize correspondence.
- Maintain a look-ahead document and briefing book.
- Draft event and meeting briefs and develop agendas.
- Coordinate travel arrangements.
- Handle administrative tasks and manage expenses.
Requirements: - 10+ years of experience supporting high-level executives.
- Experience in consulting, financial services, or media is ideal.
- Relentless focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to anticipate needs and proactively resolve issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and social media tools.
- Strong decision-making skills and discretion.
