Project Accountant

Job Description

Yondr, a global data center developer, is seeking a Project Accountant in London. This role supports the Regional Financial Controller and the Design and Construction team for the EMEA region, managing end-to-end processes for asset companies.

Responsibilities include:

• Financial responsibility for operating AssetCo entities.
• Review and presentation of monthly results.
• Performing accounting functions, including reconciliation and financial statements.
• Month-end closing and management of accounts.
• Variance analysis and recommendations for improvements.
• Liaising with the Design and Construction team for budget monitoring.
• Debt covenants monitoring and payment.
• Year-end responsibilities, including financial statement preparation and audits.
• Ensuring correct accounting policy application.
• Interface with other departments on draws, cash management, and tax filings.
• Supporting the Financial Controller.
• Identifying and driving process improvements.
• Acting as the go-to contact for AssetCo’s.

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA).
• 3-4+ years of experience in a finance role.
• Strong presentation and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and a problem solver.
• Detail-oriented and methodical.
• Ability to interact with people at all levels.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong quality control bias.
• Organizational and time management skills.
