Senior Developer, Execution Services

Job Description

Auros, a leading algorithmic trading and market-making firm specializing in digital asset liquidity provision, is seeking a Senior Developer to join their Execution Services team. This is a remote position open to candidates from across Europe and the UK. The Senior Developer will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining connections to various cryptocurrency exchanges, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of Auros' trading systems.

Role Involves:

• Designing and implementing robust, high-performance connectivity solutions for multiple crypto exchanges
• Driving excellence in execution and market data connectivity
• Collaborating with trading teams to understand and meet their connectivity requirements
• Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of exchange integration systems
• Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in cryptocurrency exchange APIs and protocols
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex connectivity issues
• Setting team strategy, planning workloads, and connecting business priorities with team outcomes

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in software development (ideally in HFT)
• Strong knowledge of exchange APIs, websockets, and low-latency communication protocols
• Proficiency in C++ (Python and Typescript beneficial)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Deep understanding of low latency exchange connectivity
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting
