Job Description

Quin is seeking a Controller to join their team in Amsterdam. The Controller will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the Quin platform. This role involves crafting monthly financial statements, managing general ledger activities, monitoring financial performance, developing internal controls, ensuring timely closings, leading OtC and PtP processes, coordinating tax and VAT compliance, supporting business cases and pricing, and leading the annual audit.

Responsibilities include:

• Crafting monthly comprehensive P&L, BS, and CF statements.
• Managing General Ledger activities for precise reconciliation.
• Monitoring and analyzing financial performance.
• Developing and sustaining robust internal controls.
• Ensuring accurate and punctual financial period closings.
• Leading OtC and PtP processes for streamlined operations.
• Coordinating compliance and assessments for Income Tax and VAT.
• Contributing to the design of new pricing mechanisms.
• Leading the annual audit.

Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in (Business) Economics or Accountancy.
• >4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong Proficiency in Excel and a knack for the latest accounting and reporting tools.
• Strong communication skills, adept in both Dutch and English.
• Flexibility in a changing start/scale-up environment.
• A positive team player with effective collaboration skills.
