AWS Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description

Swish Analytics is seeking an AWS Cloud Security Engineer to join their team. This is a fully remote position. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of hands-on experience in AWS security and a strong understanding of cloud security best practices.

The AWS Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security of Swish Analytics' AWS infrastructure and applications. He/She will work closely with developers, cloud engineers, and security teams to implement and maintain security controls, automate security processes, and respond to security incidents.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing and maintaining cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools and frameworks
• Integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines
• Automating compliance and security checks
• Securing Kubernetes clusters
• Responding to security incidents in AWS environments

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in AWS Security
• Strong knowledge of IAM, AWS security services, and VPC security
• Familiarity with security and logging tools
• Deep understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
• Experience with Github
• Kubernetes and container security expertise
• Proficiency with scripting languages
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Clear communication skills
• Self-starter mindset
