Job Description
The National Football League (NFL) is seeking a Director of Partnerships to lead the Commercial team in managing partners with sponsorship rights in Germany/DACH. This role, based in Dusseldorf, Germany, requires strong leadership skills and cross-functional experience to champion partner programs. The Director will be measured against team performance, sponsorship revenue, activation, satisfaction, and fan engagement metrics.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing relationships with existing NFL partners and resolving issues.
  • Identifying key decision-makers at the C-suite level.
  • Leading the local renewals process and supporting upsells to meet revenue targets.
  • Supporting global new business by providing market perspectives.
  • Identifying opportunities and revenue streams, including digital opportunities.
  • Building innovative propositions to attract potential sponsors.
  • Managing local sales agencies.
  • Overseeing the activation and asset development of key League priorities.
  • Providing updates to the GM, Germany, and US Global Sponsorship Team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
  • German/English fluency.
  • At least 7 years of experience in sports or with an agency.
  • Sports Sponsorship background.
  • League or Club experience.
  • Client management experience.
  • Sales/Revenue generation.
