This role is crucial for driving growth and profitability, focusing on managing relationships with top brands and vendors. The Key Account Manager will have a significant impact on Jumia's commercial activities and is seen as a potential future leader within the company.

What this role involves:
  • Operating as a point of contact for clients.
  • Developing strong client relationships.
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams for campaign planning and execution.
  • Driving campaign KPIs through optimization and stakeholder alignment.
  • Building relationships with C-Levels of top brands and vendors.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Analyzing sales data and market trends.
  • Monitoring key account metrics.
  • Negotiating agreements with key accounts.
  • Providing exceptional customer service.
  • Staying updated on industry trends.
  • Working with merchandising, operations, and logistics teams.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of accredited top Universities
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role managing online marketing campaigns
  • Brand DNA sensitivity is a plus.
  • Enjoying data crunching and at ease with large data sets and multiple sources of info
  • Enjoying working with multi-stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google tools
  • Familiar with relationship management tools
  • Strong commercial & analytical skills
  • Great capacity to handle high stake negotiations
  • Strong inter-personal skills
  • Great ability to work in a fast paced and competitive environment
  • Flawless English communication
