Job Description
Monzo is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Scientist to join their Borrowing team. This role is crucial for enhancing customer and business outcomes through improved automated decision-making, utilizing Machine Learning and Statistical modeling. The successful candidate will work within a small, experienced team, owning multiple ML applications end-to-end, from experiment design to deployment and monitoring. Monzo empowers its employees to innovate in data, methodologies, and toolings to build better models more efficiently.
Role Involves:
- Improving customer and business outcomes through automated decisioning.
- Focusing on credit risk modeling and optimizing utilization, pricing, collection, and marketing.
- Owning multiple ML applications end-to-end.
- Collaborating with Credit Strategy Analysts, Model Validation Analysts, Backend Engineers, and Product Managers.
Requirements:
- Excellent SQL and Python skills.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical and machine learning models.
- Experience in end-to-end model development and maintenance of ML models.
- Great attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
