Job Description
eyeo is seeking a Cloud and Data Platform Engineering Lead to drive the evolution of their cloud and data platforms. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and contribute directly to enhance platform performance and streamline processes. This role involves ensuring team members have the resources needed for success and professional growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and building cloud and data platforms and pipelines.
- Collaborating with teams across eyeo to design compliant data collection systems.
- Managing platforms from proof-of-concept to deprecation.
- Implementing strategies for data accuracy and consistency.
- Contributing to platform management, including performance monitoring.
- Managing contracts with service providers.
- Developing talent through mentoring and career development.
- Building a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements.
Requirements include:
- Experience translating data strategy into scalable architectures.
- Experience with cloud services, ideally Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with data architecture approaches.
- Experience with Python and Bash for scripting.
- Experience with data libraries and platforms like Airflow, PySpark, and Pandas.
- Expertise with SQL queries and optimization, ideally in BigQuery.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, ideally in GitLab.
- Leadership experience, such as mentoring team members.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
