Job Description

Yalo is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers and drive the achievement of business goals. The Software Engineering Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of the team and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Propose a technical roadmap for the team.
  • Maintain existing functionalities.
  • Build technical definitions for upcoming projects.
  • Keep track of the career path of team members.
  • Hiring / Letting people go when necessary.
  • Set proper expectations for stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • +3 Years of experience leading teams of more than 3 people.
  • Similar position in at least 2 companies.
  • Familiarity with development of web applications.
  • Solid hands on experience in GoLang or TypeScript (NodeJs).
  • Solid software architecture knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Computing, Monitoring, Microservices, Messaging queues, and databases.
  • Basic English communication skills.
  • Fluent communication in English.
