Part-time Production Counsel, Good Morning Football

NFL Media is seeking a Part-time Production Counsel for "Good Morning Football" and "GMFB: Overtime." This role involves providing legal oversight of the daily production of both shows, identifying and managing legal issues, and ensuring compliance with broadcast standards and practices. The Production Counsel will attend live tapings, function as a standards & practices delay operator, and review scripts for legal issues. They will also work with the NFL legal office in NY and provide legal advice on various issues.Responsibilities:

• Provide legal oversight of the daily production of both shows
• Identify and handle all potential legal matters that may arise during production
• Attend and/or watch live daily in-studio tapings (5-9 am)
• Function as a standards & practices delay operator
• Monitoring live television and executing edits in real-time
• Review scripts for legal and general copy issues
• Work with and maintain relationships with NFL legal office in NY

Requirements:

• An undergraduate degree and a law degree
• 10+ years working on production-related legal issues on a television program
• Strong knowledge of Broadcast Standards and Practices
• Strong attention to detail
• Interest in sports, music, entertainment, or the broadcasting process
