Job Description

Ketchum, a global communications consultancy, is seeking a Senior HR Manager to provide HR support to its US employees. The Senior HR Manager will be the primary point of contact for all people-related queries, problems, issues, and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing HR support to team members across the US
  • Conducting HR portion of new hire orientations
  • Leading the onboarding process for new employees
  • Guiding managers on employee relations, performance management, staffing, internal transfers and visas, compensation and employee development
  • Assisting with employee relations situations
  • Providing coaching and counseling to employees
  • Conducting exit interviews with departing employees
  • Developing relationships with career centers and professors at universities
  • Representing the agency at networking and career fairs
  • Leading Talent/People Team with the annual Summer Fellows Program

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 7–10 years of human resources generalist experience
  • Strong presentation, communication, and writing skills
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities and adapting to change
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • SHRM or PHR certification a plus
  • Agency, billable environment or service industry experience a plus
