Job Description
Ketchum, a global communications consultancy, is seeking a Vice President to work on a well-known retail client. The ideal candidate will drive projects and programs forward, communicate effectively with clients, and manage teams and budgets on sizable accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Act as primary contact to clients and provide strategic guidance.
- Troubleshoot client problems and seek senior management input.
- Motivate team members and encourage training and development.
- Represent agency in client-integrated meetings.
- Lead account teams effectively.
- Demonstrate proficiency in writing and editing materials.
- Manage account financials.
- Participate in new business programming and presentations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of large agency and/or public relations experience, ideally within the Retail space.
- Proven track record in building strong client relationships.
- Demonstrated experience as a team leader.
- Direct experience in building and managing teams.
