Job Description

Ketchum, a global communications consultancy, is seeking a Vice President to work on a well-known retail client. The ideal candidate will drive projects and programs forward, communicate effectively with clients, and manage teams and budgets on sizable accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary contact to clients and provide strategic guidance.
  • Troubleshoot client problems and seek senior management input.
  • Motivate team members and encourage training and development.
  • Represent agency in client-integrated meetings.
  • Lead account teams effectively.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in writing and editing materials.
  • Manage account financials.
  • Participate in new business programming and presentations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of large agency and/or public relations experience, ideally within the Retail space.
  • Proven track record in building strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience as a team leader.
  • Direct experience in building and managing teams.
