Monzo is seeking a Senior Technical Lead, Machine Learning Scientist to join their Operations Data team. This individual will play a key role in optimizing Customer Operations and crafting a world-class support experience for Monzo's customers. The Senior Lead ML Scientist will provide technical leadership, ship impactful ML-based solutions, and mentor less experienced ML practitioners.
Role Involves:
- Leading the technical work of a team in the development and deployment of advanced Machine Learning models.
- Identifying impactful areas and pushing solution development forward.
- Impacting how people across Monzo use ML tools to improve customer outcomes.
- Collaborating across the data discipline and with cross-functional squads.
Requirements:
- Multiple year track record of excellence leading the technical work of a team.
- Experience in developing and deploying advanced Machine Learning models.
- Solid grounding in SQL and Python.
- Experience developing and shipping deep learning, graph-based, and/or sequence-based ML.
- Experience mentoring other ML practitioners.
