Job Description
Allied Global Marketing is seeking a Strategist/Media Buyer & Planner to join their team. This role is a hybrid position that bridges the Client Solutions and Media teams, requiring a strategic leader who can independently drive media planning initiatives while collaborating with broader agency teams.
  • Research, develop, and execute strategic media plans across multiple channels
  • Negotiate media rates and special sponsorships
  • Analyze media performance and provide optimization recommendations
  • Serve as a primary liaison for assigned clients
  • Lead client communications and present media plans
  • Oversee billing processes and manage campaign tracking
  • Mentor junior media team members
Requirements:
  • In-depth understanding of traditional and digital media planning and buying
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with media research tools (Nielsen, Scarborough, STRATA)
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Experience with budget management
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in media planning and buying
  • Experience managing client relationships
