Assembly Technician

Job Description

Agile Space Industries is seeking an Assembly Technician to support the production of rocket engines at their manufacturing center in Durango, Colorado. The Assembly Technician will work with Manufacturing Engineers to deliver high-quality rocket hardware for in-space propulsion and R&D applications.

Responsibilities:

• Assembling and testing rocket engines.
• Using computer software to track builds and record data.
• Recommending improvements to build processes and facility equipment.
• Handling decontamination of rocket engines after hotfire testing.

Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in aerospace fabrication and assembly processes.
• Experience working with complex mechanisms and structures.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in team environments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel domestically and work overtime as needed.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Reliable commute to ensure punctual attendance.
