Job Description
Dandelion Energy is seeking a Director of Sales Engineering to lead and grow a team of Sales Engineers focused on residential production new construction geothermal systems. This role involves overseeing technical pre-sales support for enterprise opportunities, guiding system design, and ensuring alignment across sales, engineering, and project execution teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in HVAC or renewable energy systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the Sales Engineering team.
  • Provide strategic support for enterprise sales.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Drive customer engagement and provide technical leadership.
  • Analyze market intelligence and optimize processes.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in technical sales, HVAC, renewable energy, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience managing or leading technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related technical field.
  • Deep understanding of geothermal systems, construction technologies, and system design principles.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate complex technical concepts.
