Preventative Maintenance Associate

Job Description

Zenni Optical is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Associate to join their Distribution Team in Novato, CA. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of the distribution center. The ideal candidate will have entry-level maintenance knowledge and a willingness to learn and grow in a supportive, team-oriented environment.Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Assist in inventory management and cycle counting.
• Prepare shipments for carriers, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, reporting any discrepancies.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as equipment cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Collaborate with maintenance team members to perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Participate in relevant training programs.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with basic computer skills, including MS Office and inventory management software.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
