Ketchum, a global communications consultancy, is seeking a Managing Account Supervisor to join its sports specialty team, focusing on healthcare/pharma. The ideal candidate will have experience leading and growing businesses, strong media relationships, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a passion for sports and excellent teamwork skills.Responsibilities include:
- Serving as the day-to-day manager for Ketchum Sports Health programs.
- Providing strategic guidance to clients.
- Managing client budget allocation and team billability.
- Troubleshooting issues and offering solutions.
- Writing clear media strategies and securing earned media placements.
- Staying current on sports, sports business, and gaming trends.
- Creating a positive and safe environment for teams.
- Motivating and coaching junior team members.
- Growing incremental budget and participating in new business opportunities.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of agency and/or corporate public relations experience.
- Demonstrated track record in building strong client relationships.
- Consumer healthcare/pharma background.
