GA Build Technician (Contract - 2nd Shift)

Job Description

Harbinger, an American commercial electric vehicle company, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chassis Assembly Build Technician for their 2nd shift team. The technician will be responsible for the assembly and production of chassis components for stripped chassis.Role involves:

• Assembling chassis components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Installing mechanical and electrical components.
• Conducting inspections and quality checks.
• Diagnosing and resolving assembly issues.
• Maintaining accurate records of assembly procedures.
• Adhering to safety protocols.
• Performing routine maintenance on assembly equipment.
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Experience in chassis assembly or a related field.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy components and stand for extended periods.
