Job Description
Fluxon is seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join their product development team. The company, founded by ex-Googlers and startup founders, partners with visionary companies to transform bold ideas into impactful products. This role is open to candidates based in Hyderabad, India. The Manual QA Engineer will design and implement testing processes across diverse applications, collaborating with a team that values innovation and continuous growth.
Role Involves:
- Defining end-to-end test strategy and processes for entire products.
- Planning and executing testing for quality and conformance to specifications.
- Tracking, documenting, and reporting on quality initiatives.
- Investigating product quality issues and working collaboratively towards resolution.
- Championing product quality and evangelizing QA best practices.
- Engaging with clients to understand requirements and debug complex issues.
- Learning fast while working independently and reliably.
Requirements:
- Experienced QA engineer generalist with a dedication to product quality.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience testing web or mobile applications and APIs.
- 3+ years of experience in setting up testing processes from scratch.
- Strong understanding of client-server architecture and testing theory.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD and networking stack.
- Upper-Intermediate level of written and spoken English.
- Basic scripting experience in any modern programming language.
- Pro-active personality with a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with task estimation.
