Job Description

Interactive Brokers is seeking Operation Analysts for their Mumbai office. The candidate will support local and global Operations, Control, and Client Communication-related functions for cash and derivative markets. This role involves working with a dynamic, multi-national team in a company known for its cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities:

Clearing Operations: Daily reconciliation of trades, positions, and settlements for local and global affiliates, with an emphasis on European markets and local depository functions.
Proxy Support: Functional support for proxy-related functions for North American markets, including reconciliation of record date positions and managing client requests related to voting and material distribution.
Financial Control: Daily reconciliation of settlements, corporate actions, dividends, stock loans, etc., against the Firm's external clearing banks, emphasizing settlements for local and Asia/Pacific markets.
Asset Transfers: Knowledge of asset transfers and standard settlement instructions, familiarity with terms like clearing house, BIC code, ISIN, etc.

Requirements:

Experience in operations, control, and client communication-related functions.
Familiarity with cash and derivative markets.
Knowledge of European markets and local depository functions.
Understanding of proxy-related functions for North American markets.
Experience in financial control, including reconciliation of settlements, corporate actions, and dividends.
Knowledge of asset transfers and standard settlement instructions.
