Interactive Brokers Japan Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Application Service Group Associate to join their New Accounts Department in Tokyo. This role involves providing high-quality client service to retail and institutional clients, including HNWIs, financial advisors, hedge fund operators, and other broker-dealers. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for new clients, guiding them through the account opening process and building long-term relationships.Responsibilities include:

• Responding to client inquiries and concerns via various channels
• Researching and resolving account opening issues
• Multitasking with a focus on AML and KYC compliance
• Learning all aspects of the IBA brokerage platform
• Collaborating with Legal, Compliance, and other teams
• Identifying and escalating complex issues
• Providing a high-value client experience
• Working with New Account and Risk Assessment teams

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree
• 2-3 years in Client Service and/or Financial Service preferred
• Native Japanese and good English communication skills
• Cantonese and Mandarin advantageous
• Knowledge in handling client concerns
• Strong research and problem-solving skills
• Experience with MS Office
• Ability to work independently and in a team
