Compliance Analyst

Job Description

Interactive Brokers is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join their team in Chicago. This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in the office and two days remote.The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for conducting investigations and reviews of client accounts and transactions to identify potential money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes. They will analyze complex data sets, client profiles, and transaction patterns to identify inconsistencies and red flags. The role involves preparing clear case files and reports, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and staying current with AML/CFT regulations.Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigations and reviews of client accounts and transactions.
• Analyze complex data sets and transaction patterns.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and document activity following internal procedures.
• Stay current with applicable AML/CFT regulations.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of work experience in AML investigations or related financial crime roles.
• High level of technical proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• High degree of comfort with computers and technology.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a small team environment.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.
