AML/TS Model Tuning & Analytics - Analyst Level

Interactive Brokers Group is seeking an AML/TS Model Tuning & Analytics Analyst to join their team in Budapest. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining model-tuning documentation, conducting annual testing of Money Movement models, and performing AML Coverage Analysis. This role involves actively following regulatory trends, recommending design changes to reports, and assisting in the implementation of monitoring-related model projects. The Analyst will also perform data quality assessments of key model variables.

Responsibilities include:
• Establishing and maintaining model-tuning documentation.
• Conducting annual testing and tuning of Money Movement models.
• Conducting beta testing of all models and changes.
• Following regulatory trends and discussing changes.
• Recommending design changes to money movement reports.
• Performing AML Coverage Analysis.
• Performing data quality assessment of key model variables.
• Assisting in the implementation of monitoring related model projects.
• Assisting in creating model change documentation.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in mathematics, operations research, or a related quantitative field.
• Three+ years of modeling experience focusing on AML transaction monitoring and KYC.
• Three+ years of experience working with AML regulations, Know Your Client (KYC), AML transaction monitoring, AML risk assessments and AML systems tuning and optimization.
• Three+ years of experience with machine learning analyses.
• Two years of experience working with Pandas and Numpy.
• Two years of programming experience with Python and NoSQL.
• Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision.
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
