AML/TS Model Tuning & Analytics Manager

Job Description

Interactive Brokers is seeking an AML/TS Model Tuning & Analytics Manager to join their team in Budapest, Hungary. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining model-tuning documentation, conducting annual testing of Money Movement model thresholds, and actively following regulatory trends. This role involves collaborating with global stakeholders, performing data quality assessments, and assisting in the implementation of monitoring-related model projects. Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain model-tuning documentation.
• Conduct annual testing and tuning of Money Movement model thresholds.
• Conduct beta testing of all models and changes.
• Actively follow regulatory trends.
• Recommend design changes to money movement reports.
• Perform AML Coverage Analysis.
• Lead and organize global meetings with regional compliance stakeholders.
• Perform data quality assessment of key model variables.
• Assist in the implementation of monitoring related model projects.
• Assist in creating model change documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in mathematics, operations research, or a related quantitative field.
• Five years of modeling experience focusing on AML transaction monitoring and KYC.
• Five years of experience working with AML regulations, Know Your Client (KYC), AML transaction monitoring, AML risk assessments and AML systems tuning and optimization.
• Five years of experience with machine learning analyses.
• Two years of experience working with Pandas and Numpy.
• Two years of programming experience with Python and NoSQL.
• Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision.
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
