Interactive Brokers is seeking a Software Engineer to join their IBSSI team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will contribute to enhancing customer-facing trading applications and back-end systems. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing trading and back-office applications within a dynamic environment.

The Software Engineer will work closely with global engineering teams to research, develop, and implement technology solutions. They will address scalability issues related to data access and problem-solving.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software solutions.
• Developing technology solutions to improve customer-facing and back-end applications.
• Writing client/server-side code for web-based applications.
• Creating high-volume production applications and prototypes.
• Collaborating with engineering teams in Europe and the US.
• Addressing scalability issues related to data access.
• Solving technical problems.

Requirements:

• MCA/BE/Btech/Mtech/ME degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in large systems software or client application development.
• Proficiency in Java and Oracle/MySQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data storage solutions.
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments.
• Fluency in English.
