Job Description
Verkada is seeking a Sr. Manager/Manager of People Strategy and Programs to join their People team. This role involves developing and implementing people-focused strategies and initiatives to support Verkada's organizational strategies and growth. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping the employee experience and enabling leadership success.

Role involves:
  • Driving insights, operations, and strategy within the People team.
  • Leading the design and execution of key people programs.
  • Partnering with senior leaders and People Partners to align programs with business priorities.
  • Driving change management efforts through communications and presentations.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in workflows and processes.
  • Researching and benchmarking best practices to inform program design.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of professional experience in consulting, corporate strategy, or a startup, with experience in talent management, strategic workplace planning, people analytics, and/or organizational design.
  • High-impact self-starter with initiative and ability to operate with little guidance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to manage change and multiple priorities.
  • Process and operational thinking.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong change management instincts.
  • BA/BS degree; MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
