Job Description
Verkada is seeking a Senior Brand Designer to join their growing Creative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to extend the company's brand across all customer touchpoints, including brand guidelines, in-person experiences, print, digital, advertising, and events. The Senior Brand Designer will play a lead role in developing the brand, elevating the Verkada story, and building out design systems and experiences that connect with customers.Responsibilities:
  • Define, design, and execute the Verkada brand system for external and internal audiences.
  • Design and scale for user/partner conferences and trade events.
  • Help evolve and build the Verkada brand system for cross-functional use.
  • Collaborate with the marketing creative team on marketing collateral and tradeshow events.
  • Elevate and expand Verkada’s drive for excellence in communication and design.
  • Be an ambassador of the growing Verkada employee brand.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables.
  • Communicate and collaborate with designers, content writers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of in-house or agency experience.
  • Expert visual communicator and problem solver.
  • Portfolio showcasing design systems and marketing communication campaigns.
  • Thoughtful and articulate about design decisions.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and drive to deliver the best design.
  • Advanced skills in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Thorough knowledge of digital and print production practices.
  • Working knowledge of motion design/video editing software (After Effects/Premiere a plus).
