Job Description
Verkada is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition in the New Jersey SLED market. The Enterprise Account Executive will develop and execute a sales strategy within the assigned territory, focusing on new customer acquisition and revenue growth. This role reports to the Regional Sales Director, Northeast - SLED.
Role involves:
- Field-based sales activities, including customer meetings and site visits.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive territory plan.
- Managing the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics and quota.
- Prospecting and outreach, providing product demos and trials.
- Engaging in strategic negotiations with customers and channel partners.
- Driving business growth and enhancing market presence.
- Gaining an in-depth understanding of Verkada’s business and products.
- Creating effective presentations and proposals.
- Providing account analysis and generating accurate revenue forecasts.
Requirements:
- 5-10+ years quota carrying B2B software/hardware technology sales experience.
- Proven track record of success in a sales-driven organization.
- Hunter sales mentality with a strong desire to be successful.
- Willingness to have a strong field presence multiple days per week.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and engaging with all levels of executives.
- Strong knowledge and execution of MEDDIC.
- Excellent communication skills.
- BS/BA degree strongly preferred.
