Job Description

BVNK is seeking a talented Platform AI Engineer to join their team and contribute to building seamless cross-border payment solutions involving both crypto and fiat currencies. The role is pivotal in overcoming challenges to ensure smooth trading processes, streamlining liquidity management, and automation.BVNK aims to break down barriers associated with traditional methods by allowing a fluid interchange between crypto and fiat currencies. This hybrid solution will empower customers to make international payments in their preferred format, accelerating transaction speed, reducing costs, and creating a more user-friendly experience.This role involves:

• Collaborating with the product team to deliver results across backend systems and ML-powered features.
• Translating technical information to non-technical stakeholders, explaining ML model decisions and capabilities.
• Advocating for the simplest, most effective approaches, balancing traditional software solutions with AI-driven approaches.
• Developing future-proof products with quality code, incorporating ML model lifecycle management.
• Designing and implementing AI agents and automated systems to enhance product capabilities and operations.
• Contributing to the engineering culture and standards.

Requirements include:

• Proven experience as a Solid Backend Developer, preferably in FinTech.
• Experience in Python and ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with Java and Spring Boot (a plus).
• Experience building and maintaining APIs, services, and ML model deployment pipelines.
• Strong background in training, fine-tuning, and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Experience with AI agent development, including working with large language models and reinforcement learning.
• Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of financial services, particularly in banking, payments, trading, or crypto.
• Familiarity with distributed ledger technology or blockchain (a plus).
• Experience with ML ops tools and practices, including model monitoring and versioning.
• Data-driven approach with analytical skills.
