Software Engineer (Backend): FPP US/Latam

BVNK is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to building seamless cross-border payment solutions involving both crypto and fiat currencies. BVNK unifies banks and blockchains in a single platform. With BVNK, businesses can send and receive stablecoin payments, convert between currencies, and add stablecoin payments to their checkout. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the product team, translate technical concepts, advocate for simplicity, and develop future-proof products while contributing to the engineering culture.

This role is pivotal in helping BVNK overcome the challenges to ensure smooth trading processes together with streamlining liquidity management and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product team to deliver results.
• Translate technical to non-technical with stakeholders.
• Advocate for the simplest approach.
• Develop future-proof products with quality code.
• Contribute to engineering culture and standards.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of engineering experience with a compiled language.
• Proven ability to design, architect, debug, test, and document code.
• Production experience in asynchronous messaging with microservices.
• Understanding of design patterns and principles.
• Ability to translate abstract challenges into actionable solutions.
• Experience taking a product from initiation to launch.
• Experience in fiat payments, card payments, or banking infrastructure is advantageous.
• Open to participate in out of hours on call rota
