Job Description
Monzo is seeking a Group Head of Cost Efficiency to oversee cost management and supplier relationships. This role involves analyzing costs, achieving cost targets, and optimizing the cost/benefit ratio of procured services and products. The position sits on the Group Finance Leadership Team.

Role Involves:
  • Building and leading a finance business partnering team.
  • Delivering financial modelling capabilities for supplier negotiations.
  • Working with Data and Transformation teams for scalable infrastructure.
  • Rolling out Group-wide cost performance reporting.
  • Establishing key efficiency metrics and targets.
  • Collaborating with FP&A to understand cost performance.

Requirements:
  • Highly analytical and deep financial experience.
  • Experience in establishing and running cost efficiency processes.
  • Experience in selecting and implementing new systems for financial modelling.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships at a senior level.
  • Passion for team leadership and experience managing teams.
  • A customer-centric and product-centric mindset.
  • A values-driven leadership.
  • Knowledge of retail banking products and pricing is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing costs is a plus.
