Job Description
Monzo is seeking a Group Head of Cost Efficiency to oversee cost management and supplier relationships. This role involves analyzing costs, achieving cost targets, and optimizing the cost/benefit ratio of procured services and products. The position sits on the Group Finance Leadership Team.
Role Involves:
- Building and leading a finance business partnering team.
- Delivering financial modelling capabilities for supplier negotiations.
- Working with Data and Transformation teams for scalable infrastructure.
- Rolling out Group-wide cost performance reporting.
- Establishing key efficiency metrics and targets.
- Collaborating with FP&A to understand cost performance.
Requirements:
- Highly analytical and deep financial experience.
- Experience in establishing and running cost efficiency processes.
- Experience in selecting and implementing new systems for financial modelling.
- Ability to influence and build relationships at a senior level.
- Passion for team leadership and experience managing teams.
- A customer-centric and product-centric mindset.
- A values-driven leadership.
- Knowledge of retail banking products and pricing is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud computing costs is a plus.
