Job Description
Monzo is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join their Finance team. The role involves producing timely and accurate regulatory reports, interpreting regulatory requirements, and implementing controls for regulatory compliance. The analyst will also facilitate governance, test automated reporting tools, and partner with internal teams to provide regulatory reporting input.
Role Involves:
- Producing timely, accurate, and complete regulatory reporting.
- Interpreting and documenting regulatory interpretations.
- Designing and implementing controls for regulatory compliance.
- Facilitating governance over regulatory reporting.
- Implementing and testing new releases of the automated regulatory reporting tool.
- Partnering with internal teams for informed business decisions.
- Ensuring regulatory reporting runs smoothly and leveraging data visualization tools.
- Automating work and leveraging technology for scalability.
Requirements:
- Part-qualified/qualified accountant with financial services experience.
- Previous knowledge of regulatory reporting (statistical, capital, liquidity, financial).
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Basic knowledge of SQL is highly advantageous.
- Proven record of delivering to regulatory deadlines.
- Experience in large-scale implementation and testing of automated reporting solutions.
- Experience automating or enhancing recurring processes is a bonus.
- Open-minded, enjoys transparency, and thinks outside the box.
