Job Description
Monzo is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead its Open Banking initiatives. The role involves defining strategy, setting high standards for impact and execution, and coordinating across cross-functional teams. The Senior Product Manager will partner with directors in Product, Engineering, Data, and Design to shape Monzo’s product strategy for Open Banking and drive innovation.
What this role involves:
- Work iteratively and collaboratively with various teams.
- Champion the growth of existing Open Banking products.
- Lead the planning process and roadmap prioritization.
- Shape the broader product strategy by sharing insights.
- Participate in external Open Banking working groups.
- Own the strategic direction, balancing long-term goals and short-term targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and validate new opportunities.
- Create delightful experiences that solve user needs and pain points.
- Communicate effectively to inspire and share context.
Requirements:
- Experience shipping world-class products at a fast-growing company.
- Strong understanding and experience developing Open Banking products.
- Track record of leading the development of market-leading value propositions.
- Data-driven and commercial mindset.
- Proven track record of making an impact through experimentation and optimization.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
