Job Description
Monzo is seeking a Head of Enterprise Risk Management, EU to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the Enterprise Risk Management framework in Europe. This role is based in Dublin, Ireland, and reports to the Chief Risk Officer, Monzo Europe. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining enterprise risk management processes and standards across the EU.
The role involves:
- Implementing and maintaining the EU Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Defining and maintaining the EU Risk Appetite Framework and Statement.
- Leading the enterprise risk identification and materiality assessment process.
- Assessing and promoting a strong risk culture across the organization.
- Maintaining the EU Risk Taxonomy and risk register.
- Preparing and presenting comprehensive risk reports to the Board and Executive Committees.
- Planning, coordinating, and executing risk assurance activities.
- Leading the development and delivery of risk training programs.
- Overseeing the functions of the Office of the CRO.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise risk management within a banking environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management and related regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills, strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Detailed knowledge of digital banking products and operations and associated risks.
- Detailed understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks and techniques in financial technology operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion about financial technology.
