Clara is seeking a Control Desk & Credit Associate to bolster the financial framework of Latin American businesses. Clara is a leading B2B spend management platform utilized by over 20,000 companies, offering clarity and control in managing payments, credit, and expenses. The company's all-in-one solution encompasses locally issued corporate cards, bill pay, financing, and a robust SaaS platform designed for scalability.The Control Desk & Credit Associate will ensure prospect compliance with requirements, manage onboarding processes including KYC, KYB, and AML checks, analyze customer financial conditions, assess credit risk, propose credit limits, and contribute to process improvements and audits. They will also foster internal relationships with sales to address customer credit needs.Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, cashflow, credit score, and risk assessment requirements.
  • Managing onboarding processes (KYC, KYB, AML checks, credit score validation, and credit origination).
  • Analyzing customer financial conditions.
  • Assessing credit risk and proposing credit limits.
  • Reviewing and challenging the credit risk model.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Supporting credit bureau audits and operational improvement projects.
  • Developing internal relationships with sales to resolve customer credit needs.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in credit or collection activities.
  • Intermediate/advanced English proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Google spreadsheet formulas (filters, tables, pivot tables).
  • High analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic way of working.
