Cleo is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and develop engineers across cross-functional product squads. This role involves people management, technical leadership, and collaboration with product, data, and experience teams. The Senior Engineering Manager will be responsible for the well-being and development of their reports, ensuring the delivery of exceptional products for Cleo's customers.

Role Involves:
  • Managing and developing multiple squads and engineers.
  • Building headcount plans and overseeing hiring.
  • Ensuring technical leadership and process improvement.
  • Collaborating with product, data, and experience teams.
  • Developing squad-focused Leads into more senior positions.

Requirements:
  • Exceptional people leadership skills.
  • Understanding of building a culture of technical excellence.
  • Previous experience as a hands-on software developer.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Comfort with change and a learning and growth mindset.
