Job Description
Cleo is seeking a Head of Motion Design to define how their brand moves in the world. This role involves shaping the motion language for a creatively ambitious AI brand, building a motion function from the ground up. The ideal candidate will value artistry and responsibly use AI in video creation.
Role Involves:
- Defining and leading Cleo’s motion identity.
- Bringing campaigns to life through motion design.
- Hiring and leading a team of motion designers/editors.
- Concepting and executing story-driven animation.
- Collaborating with brand, copy, creative, and comms teams.
- Building toolkits and motion guidelines.
- Championing AI tooling.
Requirements:
- 9+ years of experience in brand, agency, or media environments.
- Exceptional storytelling in motion portfolio.
- Experience developing motion systems and toolkits.
- Strong skills in After Effects, Premiere, Figma, and 3D workflows.
- Creative and strategic thinking.
- Leadership and team-building skills.
