Job Description
Notion is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to join their team in San Francisco. This role is pivotal in shaping how Notion communicates, collaborates, and maintains its dynamic culture as they scale rapidly. The Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for storytelling and bringing Notion's mission to life to connect employees across the globe. This is a hybrid role, requiring employees to be in the office for two anchor days (Mondays & Thursdays) and spend the majority of their week in the office, including a third day.
What this role involves:
- Developing clear and consistent messaging to connect employees to the company mission, vision, values, and strategy.
- Leading and executing department-level All Hands meetings in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Supporting department-level communications to ensure alignment with company strategy and goals.
- Establishing and maintaining a consistent cadence of communications to inform, inspire, and engage employees.
- Managing all internal communications channels to ensure employees can easily access and understand necessary information.
- Identifying, designing, and executing cross-functional Special Projects to educate employees, enhance the employee experience, and strengthen Notion’s brand and culture.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, internal/employee communications, and project management.
- Strong writing and editorial skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content across multiple channels.
- Experience working with senior leadership and the ability to write in their authentic voice.
- Strong builder mentality and high degree of comfort working in ambiguity.
