Job Description
Notion is seeking a motivated Outbound Business Development Representative to join their team in New York City. This role is crucial in defining the outbound sales motion, shaping the product, and driving revenue. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customers, a growth mindset, and experience in outbound sales, preferably in SaaS. Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).
    What this role involves:
  • Identifying and analyzing target prospects.
  • Reaching out to prospects via email, phone, and LinkedIn.
  • Conducting high-level discovery calls with Executives.
  • Qualifying prospects and maintaining thorough notes.
  • Building internal reports and dashboards using Salesforce.com.
    Requirements:
  • At least 6 months of outbound sales development experience.
  • Passion for customers and empathy for their needs.
  • Growth mindset and view challenges as learning opportunities.
  • Creativity and tenacity in outbound prospecting.
  • Technical understanding of SaaS products and business workflows (Nice to have).
  • Prior experience with Salesforce, Outreach, and other prospecting tools (Nice to have).
