Apollo.io is seeking an Engineering Manager to enable excellence, productivity, and growth within its engineering organization. The Engineering Manager will provide hands-on mentorship and accelerate the careers of their team members. Apollo.io provides sales and marketing teams with easy access to verified contact data for over 210 million B2B contacts and 35 million companies worldwide, along with tools to engage and convert these contacts in one unified platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Defining and adhering to goals and expectations.
  • Driving a culture around excellence, learning, and fun.
  • Improving development and management processes
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software
  • Participating in technical decision-making discussions
  • Building and scaling a world-class engineering team
  • Conducting performance reviews

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in people management
  • Technical leadership experience
  • Strong fundamentals in software architecture at scale
  • Experience with Ruby and Python
  • Understanding of data privacy and security fundamentals
  • Experience with AI tools to enhance software development processes
