Job Description
Apollo.io is seeking an Engineering Manager to enable excellence, productivity, and growth within their engineering organization. This is a permanent EoR role based in Poland. The Engineering Manager will provide hands-on mentorship and accelerate the careers of their team members. They will work closely with key stakeholders to deliver high-quality software at a rapid pace.
Role involves:
- Defining, setting, and adhering to goals and expectations.
- Driving a culture around excellence, learning, and fun.
- Improving development and management processes.
- Collaborating with the CTO, Product Managers, and Designers.
- Participating in technical decision-making discussions.
- Building and scaling a world-class engineering team.
- Holding weekly 1:1 touch points with engineers.
- Conducting quarterly performance reviews.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering industry experience.
- 3-5 years' experience in people management, preferably leading senior engineers and managers.
- Proven track record of technical leadership.
- Strong fundamentals in software architecture at scale.
- Experience with Ruby and Python.
- Understanding of data privacy and security fundamentals.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance software development processes.
