Job Description
GitLab, a leading open core software company, is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Operations Analyst to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of its billing processes for subscription-based services. Reporting to the Billing Operations Manager, the analyst will manage complex billing configurations and serve as a trusted advisor to Sales Operations, Revenue Accounting, and Accounts Receivable teams.
Role Involves:
- Approving, adjusting, or rejecting opportunities according to guidelines.
- Driving hygiene and governance of Zuora Billing UI.
- Ensuring transactions comply with revenue recognition and business operational policies.
- Processing system workflow interfaces to sync quote information between Salesforce and Zuora.
- Managing a regional billing queue and portfolio, handling standard and complex deal configurations.
- Maintaining billing team Zendesk and Salesforce case queues.
- Supporting training and enablement of new hires.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of billing experience in a high-volume environment.
- Experience in high volume subscription-based billing environments.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- System knowledge of Zuora Billing, Salesforce CRM, Google Suite, and Slack (preferred).
