Senior Fullstack Engineer at Apollo.io

Apollo.io is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to contribute to their go-to-market solution that is trusted by over 500,000 companies globally. In this role, the engineer will focus on Apollo’s extensive leads data, developing features to enhance data quality and build customer-facing products. The ideal candidate will provide innovative and simplified solutions through end-to-end implementation.

The Senior Fullstack Engineer will be integral to the company’s growth, collaborating within a cross-functional team to refine technology, architecture, and processes. This position involves close interaction with product, design, and fellow software engineers, emphasizing high-quality, automation, and meticulous bug resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, test, deploy, and iterate on end-to-end features across frontend and backend.
• Implement pixel-perfect designs that work across multiple browsers.
• Produce clean, well-structured code with detailed specifications and documentation.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, automation, and continuous delivery.
• Communicate development progress and blockers effectively.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and on-call duties.
• Write unit and integration tests and contribute to engineering wikis.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of industry experience in backend development.
• 3+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6), React, Redux, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong knowledge of backend technologies and databases (e.g., MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
• Strong system design fundamentals and experience building scalable systems.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven software engineering skills in a production environment, including test-driven development.
