Job Description
GitLab is seeking a Technical Architect to join their Professional Services team. This role is crucial for guiding and executing a wide range of responsibilities within GitLab's Professional Services projects. The Technical Architect will oversee the entire engagement lifecycle, from initial scoping to delivery, ensuring deliverables align with customer expectations. They will collaborate with internal and partner consultants, providing mentorship and guidance.
Role involves:
- Delivering high-level designs for Professional Services projects.
- Engaging with Customers in a Statement of Work to drive results.
- Deploying to customer on-prem and cloud providers utilizing Terraform and Ansible.
- Performing migrations from source system to GitLab using Congregate.
- Providing DevOps and DevSecOps consulting and best practices.
- Coordinating implementation activities for internal and partner consultants.
- Leading technical discovery sessions with customers.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communications.
- Progressive experience delivering consulting services (SCM migration, Cloud Architecture, DevOps Engineering, CI/CD consulting).
- Enterprise-level software development experience.
- DevOps Platform experience.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
